As a former meth user I destroyed myself along with my connection to my friends and family. Meth took me to a place I never thought I would escape from. The realities of this horrible drug and what they do, not only to the user but to the people around the user, are devastating. Sadly, my journey into this addiction was not unique. It mirrors so many who have fallen into its grasp.Through sobriety, having learned how to love myself, I have taken my struggles both with meth and in life and forged an influential position as an educator and speaker. With METH HEAD as an impactful tool for change, I can help others by sharing my story and being the living, breathing proof that there can be light at the end of the tunnel. This film is that important, because it can educate and through education it can save lives and change lives.
