"Clark shows masterful control of her volatile material. She doesn’t judge but you get a piercing impression of just how dreadful the meth habit is and its ripple effect on anyone close to an addict."
- John Townsend, Lavender Magazine
JANE CLARK
PERSONAL STATEMENT
METH HEAD was born of my desire to share what I learned, to educate about the drug and to help those at risk of falling prey to its fast moving clutches. Since the first day I started working on the film I spoken to so many people who's lives have been touched by methamphetamine that even I have been surprised by the numbers. I've met mothers and lovers of addicts. I've met recovering addicts and people who had no idea about the drug. On tour with the film, I have spoken at numerous Q&A's and on panels about my experiences as a family member and friend of meth addicts, my knowledge of the drug from a clinical and personal perspective, and the knowledge I have gained from others through this journey.
